A clever riff on the classic nuts in chocolate bar. Inspired by Asian Fusion cuisine, we roast the edamame like a peanut to give it a nice crunch, add a dash of sea salt and drop it our creamy, rich 47% Peruvian chocolate.

The unexpected ingredients in our Edamame Sea Salt chocolate bar never fail to surprise and delight first-time tasters. The result is a perfect balance of sweet and savory tasting notes with a nutty texture. The cacao origin is Rupa-Rupa, Upper Amazon region of Peru. The beans are fermented 7 days, dried 7 days with a medium roast.

In addition to paying farmers fairly, jcoco donates 10% of net profits to providing additional support to cacao farmers.

“This is one of my new 5-star Seattle chocolates. I love edamame like boiled peanuts. But with chocolate?? A delightful delish surprise. Nutty, salty, edamame crunch bathed in silky chocolate. And I love the cilantro green wrapper.”
